The UK Graduate visa lets you stay and work in the UK after you finish an eligible UK degree, and it is getting shorter. If you apply on or before 31 December 2026, it lasts 2 years. If you apply on or after 1 January 2027, it lasts 18 months. PhD and other doctoral graduates still get 3 years. You must be in the UK when you apply, and the visa cannot be extended.
