This degree programme is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council. For the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Chartered Engineer (CEng)

In Semester 1, you'll build foundational engineering skills, focusing on mathematical applications, mechanical principles, and digital skills.
Semester 2 progresses to explore fluid mechanics, electrical principles, and material properties. Alongside learning theoretical principles, you'll practically apply the skills you have developed in an interdisciplinary design project tackling real-world problems, across Semester 1 & 2.
Combining state-of-the-art technology with fundamental engineering, this programme will develop your knowledge and skills to tackle global challenges. With a Design Centre and the Makerspace, you’ll be able to apply your new skills in practical facilities.
